Has anyone been asked to crush and insert Progronova?

Having FET and had my second scan today. Lining slightly behind at 5.4 and they like to see 6-7 at this stage. They called me to uo my dose, said continue taking 3, 3x a day but to also crush and insert a another 3, 3x a day.

Reason I’m asking this, is it’s not easy to do I feel like time I get it where it needs to be that I’ve lost it all on the way... without being to graphic.

Just wondered if anyone else has ever had to do this?

Sorry sarah I have no experience about that except I took progynova whole tabs and from mouth but I believe if you crush and insert then your body must dissolve and absorb it 😇 good luck

I've been asked to do them vaginally (just one or 2 tablets) but nobody mentioned crushing them first....that sounds well complicated! Have you tried drinking rasp worry leaf tea? I drank 2 cups a day of that and took the tablet form twice a day too....I got my best lining ever. Good luck.xx

Someone else told me to get that, so I’ve just ordered it! 😊

It really is complicated... 🤣 but I’ll follow their advice. I’ll be doing a lot of yoga this week. lol.

The tea is quite nice actually so just get that over your neck.....sounds daft but it really does help. You could try warm baths and keeping your feet warm, hot water bottles etc.

Mine was an FET so from the start as it helps build your lining which happens from the beginning of a cycle.xx

I'm doing a long protocol (first time and super nervous) so I guess start taking it from the start of stims?

It might well be that you dont need it as your lining increases alongside your follicles naturally with the stims. It's a bit different for an FET. Trust in the meds as its first time and go from there!! Good luck.xx

Yes I have. I was prescribed viagra and to also insert 1progynova but I couldn't get the viagra as it fell on a weekend and I had to improvise with the progynova , I ended up inserting 3 × a day for 2 days . My lining went from 5.2mm to over 8mm within 2 days, then the couldn't cancel the circle. I am 22weeks pregnant with twins now .All the best

No I didn't, I wasn't asked to because it was meant to melt on on it's own

It was sugar coated I think
