I had a 5dft on the 6th August and my viability scan is on the 10th September but I’ve just started bleeding today, heavy like a period.. I have the rang clinic & just told me to keep taking meds and do another pregnancy test in a week’s time.. 😢😢😢

my question is has anybody experienced this and still had a successful pregnancy???

Thanks

Hi Melbrod. This seems to be happening to loads of us recently. Check back thrroyght the forum or through my recent posts for reassurance. It is really alarming but really common in early pregnancy. My advice is to get repeat beta hcg done or go to your local early pregnancy unit. When I was bleeding I had a scan at 5w5 to see where the bleeding was coming from. Xxxx

Thanks very much for the response, I have just got back from early pregnancy unit & they have done a scan, definitely not ectopic phew! But baby is measuring only 5 weeks & heartbeat is slow she said but just could be because it’s little heart has only just started beating. Bleeding has got worse though 😫😖 xx
