Hi. This is going to sound like a silly question but I feel like I need to ask it.
After your embryo transfer you obviously have a few weeks to wait for the results.
Technically when the embryo is put into your body you are classed as pregnant. So after the 10/14 days and you do a test and it's negative...does this mean you've had a miscarriage or that it just hasn't taken?

Often when you get a BFN after embryo transfer it’s because the embryo didn’t implant, so not technically a miscarriage although still a loss as you had the embryo. Sometimes people have a chemical pregnancy which is where the embryo does implant but stops developing really really early on. Perhaps before taking the pregnancy test itself xx
