Can you over dose on vitamins? I’m just a bit worried because I’m giving my husband a few different vitamins and then our clinic has advised us to use Impryl? It seems like it’s a lot

Impryl is great, especially if you’re hubby has sperm issues. I don’t think you need to take all the other stuff as well though. We just used Impryl and it had a good effect on my hubbies motility.
Some vitamins are water soluble so if you take too much your body will expel it in urine, others are fat soluble. They will build up in the body and could become toxic. I couldn’t tell you for sure which of what your husband is taking falls into which category.x
I can highly recommend taking Impryl or a high quality supplement. I am living proof of the importance of getting your vitamin intake, something I probably took for granted for a long time. I would always take pregnacare once I got pregnant, but not leading up to.
Impryl supplies folic acid in its natural methylated form so your body doesn’t have to convert it from its synthetic form.
I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility many years ago. Many miscarriages and failed ivf later, Over the years I’ve had 3 rounds of chlomid, Tamoxifen, intrilipid and prednisone steroids for elevated killer cells, dna tested MTHFR.
I am hesitant to reply on people’s journeys as I feel fertility is an imperfect science and science is still catching up in so many areas, but if I could do things differently, I would spend the money on a high quality vitamin rather than dive in spending thousands of pounds on fertility treatments hastily.
pls if your doctor says Impryl, then stick to it only as you know too much of everything is bad. It will definitely work as long as you ensure your husband doesn't miss any dose.
My husband with sperm issues only took proxeed plus for Men as recommended by our ivf clinic, two sachets a day and it worked for us.
Hi A good quality multi vitamin and some added zinc should be enough. Some minerals can store up in your joints, so stick to the basics and a sensible diet. If your clinic has recommended something, then I would go with that. Tell them what he is having, so they can adjust how much to take. Good luck! Diane
