polyp removal cost ?

Hi everyone ,had anyone polyp removal from the uterus ,do you now how much it cost on private clinic ,i am doing IVF and because of this polyp i had to freeze my fresh transfer ,i do not where to take it off the GP it is closed ,i want to do it in private ?thank you

I too have had polyps. My clinic removed these at the same time as egg collection. Not sure if they charged extra..will try and find out. I had to do a freeze all as well and have the transfer a few months later.

Lucky you to have in same time.,my clinic didn't do that ,which clinic are you ?

Hi there. Sorry to hear about your polyp. I had one after my first cycle (not caused by the drugs according to the clinic, but I don't believe them). They didn't offer to remove it or refer me, just said it would need to go. I transfered to a different clinic for a different protocol. They said they could refer me to have it removed privately in an NHS hospital and the cost would be around £1300. I couldn't afford that and asked for a letter I could take to my GP. The consultant kept saying he would write it and never did, so I ended taking it into my own hands and went through my GP for an NHS referral. This set me back a year unfortunately, so if you can afford it, try to go private. Good luck and I hope you get sorted soon. X
