If you are pregnant and cant finish the year or course then you can defer, speak to your admissions/admin team for more details xx

I took a leave of absence from my Master's degree whilst undergoing treatment as I couldn't cope with it all whilst working full time. My UK university allows students 6 years to complete studies for the 3 year part-time higher degree course. I had to fill in a form and provide evidence ie consultant's letter. The tutors were very supportive perhaps partly because it was a part time distance learning programme. It might be worth checking what your university can offer if you need to take time off during treatment eg extension for assignments, leave of absence as well as maternity arrangements/leave.

I completed my degree with distinction but sadly treatment wasn't successful.

Good luck.
