Counsellor recommendations please

You may have seen my previous posts about my anxiety being 21 with low egg reserve and what my future holds for me.

I desperately need to get some counselling. Any recommendations please?

You should have a look at the BICA website. I know you're not trying to conceive at present but they will be able to understand your anxiety around the though of your fertility running out so can perhaps help you manage how you are feeling!xx

I think it's so important to chat to a therapist if you're feeling low. Well done for reaching out.

I searched for one back in August after my last loss and came across Ann Bracken. She's Irish and she's amazing! She actually does consultations via Skype which I wasn't sure about at the start but are actually a blessing. You can pour your heart out in the comfort of your own home and not have the commute to and from the session is a relief especially if you had a tough session.

The best thing about Ann though is she's trained in infertility loss and used to work as therapist at The Lister clinic in Chelsea she she's aware of the IVF world and all that that entails.

She's lovely and gentle and helps you sort through your issues in a practical loving way. She's amazing!

We use a lovely lady called Vicky Parkin. She's based in London but does Skype consultations. All our consultations have been Skype based, she's lovely and very understanding. Highly recommended!
