Hi all these are the results of my blood tests at day 21.
I haven't discussed with gp but I've done my own research and found that these two hormones should be in the same levels as each other and a higher lh usually indicate pcos? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
I also has then done at day 3 which were
LH: 3.1 u/l
FSH 7.5 u/l
The massive difference is making me wonder of something is going wrong during my luteal phase

The hormones you are looking at are supposed to fluctuate during your cycle. It would be more concerning if they were the same on D3 and D21. I think you should wait for your doctor to interpret but generally LH levels are always higher than FSH.
PCOS is only diagnosed with deranged hormones AND/OR cysts on ovaries AND/OR symptoms such as infrequent or absent periods. You need at least 2 of the three symptoms for a diagnosis of PCOS.
If you just google an image of the hormones during a menstrual cycle you can see how much the levels of hormones fluctuate. The other thing to keep in mind is not everyone has 28 day cycles which all of these pictures and studies are mostly based on. Your doctor is in the best place to interpret your results as they know your past medical history and are the experts. I hope this is able to put your mind at rest a little.
Ahhh ok thank you. I was under the impression lh should be lower than fsh?
I was meant to have my testerone levels checked but it wssnt on the form.
I have an ultrasound in June in a&e due to immense pain in my pelvic region
But have been referred for another
In terms of speaking to my gp... I've been trying since day 3 bloods to discuss them. The only discussion I got one your progesterone was lkw repeat it at day 21. I asked about the others he said the day 21 will give a better picture.
It's so difficult to have a decent Convo over the phone with the gp cause half the time I'm in work so have to keep it short. I haven't had a face to face appt since June when they sent me to a&e. I ring at least 3 times a week and all appts are gone by 2 minutes past 8 and all theh offer is phone.
