Day 3 test help!

Day 3 test help...

So I start ivf next month but have never had my Oestradiol Tested which I find very bizarre. I have paid to have it done with one of these tests you can send in the post and this has come back

FSH - 4.27

LH - 5.9

Oestradiol- 28.7 (extremely low)

The doctor commented that my Oestradiol is extremely low.. surely this is something that should have been checked!! My FSH is good so I don’t think I’m peri menopausal and I have pcos. I thought pcos made you estogen dominant? Should I inform my ivf clinic of this finding? I’m a bit upset as I’ve gone through so many tests and I don’t know why this hasn’t been checked. I am gathering this is why I never ovulate? Any help on the matter would be appreciated as I am struggling to find any info regarding normal FSH and low O.

Mine was pretty low at 60mol/l however I still ovulate! I know yours is a lot lower but have you had a day 21 test to check for ovulation for peace of mind? Did you get the reference limits for your tests to check what the normal ranges are as this can depend on the units they use....for example I had mine done in mol/l. See if you can get a print out to take to your clinic to discuss.xx

Thanks for the reply. I’ve had progesterone tested and I don’t ovulate but I have regular periods ?? It literally makes no sense ! It says the range is 44 and over so it’s definately awful. I’m going to take it to my next appointment I think!
