Everyone knows what sensitive post means so I’m really sorry for those that didn’t get their happy news this time around. I still have my fingers crossed for everyone and for ourselves it’s still extremely early days! I think it’s important to share the good news too though.
We’re over the moon to get our BFP. We’ve known since an extremely faint positive test on Thursday which was 5dp5dt and tests have been getting darker since but the hospital confirmed it today. I didn’t eat pineapple or do anything particularly different but I did do the McDonald’s chips!
We’re delighted and can’t believe we got so lucky!!
I’ve got mild OHSS so feeling rubbish with an upset tummy but I’ll take it seeing as it’s a result of pregnancy! Anyone else experienced OHSS with pregnancy?
Hoping there’s more BFP to go around this week! X

Congratulations! I hope you feel better soon. I got my BFP but still got to be confirmed on Wednesday at the hospital. I'm so happy but cant help but ache in my heart for people who haven't been as blessed as me. X
It’s a very strange feeling! I did the clear blue one that tells you weeks and it showed me at 2-3 weeks after conception because my HCG is really high so it’s a good one to do to keep your mind at rest till Wednesday! The wait is a killer! x
Apparently you should have them after your embryo transfer something to do with salt but it’s all superstition I think. I don’t like pineapple so I figured I’d do the chips! x
Congrats! I had late onset OHSS with my first. At least three litres of water a day, lots of protein (all meals and snacks: meat, fish, dairy, pulses), and extra salt. Good luck
Exactly what I thought! I don’t like pineapple so wasn’t forcing myself through that and after all this healthy eating an excuse for McDonald’s chips was amazing! 😂 x
