Ovarian cyst - anyone had them drained?

Hi lovely ladies 😊

So after finally finding my left ovary ( it hid for my baseline can )the doc also found a 2 cm cyst which was the cause of down reg not working. Ive had it drained today but not feeling much relief - still have pain a on my left side. I cant really find much info on it, has anyone else had this done? Can they fill back up again?

I had endometrial cyst drained on my right ovary about a year ago and then proceeded to ivf cycles which sadly failed

I have grade 4 endometriosis

After drainage of cyst you may feel pain for a few days

But hopefully you will be alright soon

Relax for a few days and consult you doctor if you dnt feel relieved

In my case it’s been one year since and cysts have grown back again which the doctor said is affecting egg retrieval

I will go for laparoscopy now

The drainage of cyst is not permanent solution and the cysts will come back after a while

So if you are planning to go for ivf you should start it as soon as possible

And if you are still having pain better you visit the hospital soon
