Late period after failed IVF cycle last month

Has this happened to anyone?

I’ve has my IVF cycle last month which has failed and got period on exactly the same day as I always do.

We have tried for a baby this month and I’m 4 days late. Could this still be just the effect of hormones on my body or should I do a pregnancy test just in case.

I don’t want to get my hopes high.

Don’t want to burst your hopes but my period was about 10 days late after my failed IVF cycle. I didn’t think anything of it as presumed they would be a bit messed up given they take control of your cycle so it’s no longer a normal cycle.

Really hoping I’m wrong and you are pregnant but just sharing how it was for me. I think they say it’s at least one bleed before your body adjusts itself after IVF. Xx

Thank you , that’s what I thought. I’ll wait and see, do t really fancy taking another negative pregnancy test

Ye exactly why put yourself through it just give it another while to see if your period arrives. P.s at least you got as far as doing a test in your last cycle it was better than how mine went so take the positives, stay strong. Sending you positive vibes xx
