Hello all, just wanted your opinion on this one. It is two weeks today since my letter to the clinic (which I forwarded by email) and apart from an acknowledgement of receipt of my letter from the clinic manager I’ve had no other response to the questions I put to them. Is it just me or is this pretty poor? Just wanted a second opinion before I get in touch with them this afternoon to follow it up. Dxx

Yep, I think this is really poor! They may have set up an investigation or be doing stuff in the background but personally I think its really important to at least make some form of communication to let you know what the next steps are. Was there a timescale given in the acknowledgement email? I would get back onto them!xx
Hey there, thanks so much for getting back to me. I just wanted someone else’s opinion as I was afraid I might have a bit of tunnel vision about it all at this stage! There was no time scale provided in the acknowledgement response so I’m going to get in touch with them this afternoon and ask exactly when I should expect a response to my questions. I’m just feeling more and more disappointed in them now 😕 xx
Do they have a complaints policy at all?
Hiya - oh yes I think two weeks is ample time for them to get back to you so you’re well in your rights to give them a chase. They should be prioritising your situation as the delay is their issue, not any fault of yours. I’m sorry you’re going through this, we’re in the same boat of course but different clinics, so I sympathise completely, it’s so frustrating and unfair, do get onto them as you deserve an update xxx
Thanks Claire, I thought a fortnight was ample time also. I’ve just emailed them and had an almost immediate response from the manager to say they’re actually in the process of sending out their reply to us today! Relieved but anxious to hear what their answers to our questions are! xx
Ah that’s good - at least you’ll hopefully have a clearer picture and I’m hoping you’ll have an approx timeframe you can get your head round.. lots of luck xxx 🤗

That really is poor. You would expect at the very least for someone to phone to let you know that they are looking at it and give you expectation of timelines for response. Especially us sensitive lot who like immediate responses and action. At least if you have an idea of the timelines you will be less anxious. Just goes to show even more that maybe they are just not that good? Hope you get something soon xxx
