Don't know what to think

I should be 6 weeks pregnant today. Last night though I started bleeding bright red blood with clots. I bled all night so hardly got any sleep. This morning it turned brown and nothing since. During my last miscarriage I was in quite a lot of pain but nothing more than the usual cramping I've been getting. It also lasted a lot longer.

I called the clinic today and am booked in for a scan tomorrow. I just want it all confirmed so I can carry on. I did a clearblue pregnancy test Tuesday which said I was 2-3 weeks (so 4-5 weeks), did another one today which said 3+ (5+ weeks).

Has any one else experienced period like bleeding and everything been okay? I just don't know what I'll do if I hear those words again. This is our 5th ivf cycle and I just don't feel strong enough to go through it all again 😔

I bleed at 6 weeks (for 3 weeks) sometimes bright red, brown, pink and I am now 34 weeks. Easy to say but try not to worry xx

Thanks for your reply. We are so shocked as scan just showed everything is ok. We have another scan next week so just praying that it grows. Not long to go for you now. Hope it all goes well xx

I had two big bleeds at 6 weeks with clots and cramps although cramps were nowhere near as bad as the ones during miscarriage but was convinced that was it but had a scan a one every week until 12 weeks and all was fine and was still bleeding until about 10 weeks.

I’m nearly 34 weeks now. Try and rest up and relax (easier said than done). Good luck for your scan xx

Thank you for your reply. Just had a scan and everything is okay. We can’t believe it. Got another scan next week so just keeping everything crossed xx

Hey hun I bleed for 12 weeks its very scary and its understandable just try relax and fingers crossed all will be ok. Xx
