I'm going for ivf but not sure what the hospital will do to make me have a period to start treatment. Metformin has no affect on me at all except for extreme migraines. X

Ivf
My clinic gave me norethisterone that I took three times a day for fives day and then when I came off it I came on five days later x
The clinic could put you on the combination pill to initiate a withdrawal bleed. Good luck x
Hi Shannon. First of all you need to talk to your GP or gyno at once and discuss your future IVF. Basically you need meds to restart your cycle, most likely that you'll have an injection to stop your cycle and then you just need to wait for AF. I'm not an expert though, I had only IVF with donor eggs and the stimulation process is a bit different. Anyways, you need to consult with your doctor before the next step. Luck x
I have pcos and endo
They will pick right meds for you.
Just after stopping current cycle.
Contact them and say about your experience with metformin.
So it`d be easier to choose the best.
Hope, they`ll find some which affects you without such side effects.
Good luck
When I did my clomid cycles, I was given provera to bring on a cycle so I could start taking the clomid. Hopefully they will do that again. Can they not just down reg straight away seen as I don't ovulate?
