Hi Ro5ie I'm not starting stims till the 24th but I'm already 'shut down' like buserelin does as I've been on a drug called prostap for my endometriosis for three months which does that. So we could be starting stims around the same time? I'm usually on buserelin but going straight into stims (a mixture of menopur and Gonal F 😳) because of the prostap. How are you feeling about it? Loads of luck xx

Hi Georgina Not long got back from the scratch the consultant was telling me i may find it quite uncomfortable and I didnt feel a thing! Ive done my first buserelin this morning I am finding it quite difficult with the injections this time round not sure why. Yes we may be starting around similar time hope all goes well for u what protocol are u on? Im doing ICSI long protocol xx

Hope your injections get easier Hun, at cycle 3 I found it hurt more and bled sometimes than previously, I think that's probably because it's not the first time. I'm on long protocol but it's slightly different because of the endometriosis treatment I've been on for 3 months, so I will be having some buserelin but with stims at the same time from day 1. Lots of luck xx

Ps I had the scratch last time too & didn't feel a thing cramp wise either, I actually thought they hadn't done it properly 😂 The speculum was the most uncomfortable thing about it! x

Hello, I'm on my 2nd day of down reg's today. Apparently I have an over-active thyroid gland so am about to start meds for that too - oh the joys! My endo scratch is next Friday - let me know how yours goes! Good luck with your cycle - and the same goes for the rest of our cycle buddies! Xxxx

Hi alice how are you getting on with the injections? Im struggling a little bit this time,

the endo scratch was fine the only bit that was uncomfortable was the speclum and didnt feel the scratch at all Ive got a bit of period pains now good luck xx

in reply toRo5ie

I'm just taking Norethisterone (NET) at the moment - no injections until I start stims in around 10 days' time. Make sure you put a big cross through each injection day on your calendar - every day is one day down! Thanks for the endo scratch info! Xxx

Ive been on the same meds I was given it to induce a bleed as the buserelin wasnt thinning my lining . Ive done just that crossing of every day I inject xx
