Hey ladys am new to this but just wondering if anyone at secroft for ivf.....

I had my tubes out 2 weeks ago and just got my appoint for the 26th of September to take our passport pics with us does that mean we are one step even closer to starting

Helloo

I had my treatment at Seacroft and like you I had my tubes out too..

Once you get to the point were you bring your passport pics, you will see a nurse and fill some forms out which takes about an hour, from then they will work out your next period and check they can fit you in and from there things happen pretty fast.

I will say this to you The IVF experience for me was grim as I did not like the injections but my husband did them which helped. I am pleased to say though that we had one attempt at IVF and I am now 11 weeks pregnant with 5 embryos in the freezer and im 38 years old.

All the nurses are lovely apart from 1 who was too matter of fact been in the job too long..

Thank you for getting back to me aw that makes me feel more exsighted.a massive congratulions to you and your husband.

I really ant looking forward to the injections and will probably have my husband do them too but am ready to take what ever I have to, to get there it feels like it has tuck forever to get here and am so ready.

Yeah after having my tubes clipped everything moved fast I'm now 25 weeks pregnant I said I was going to get partner to do injections but found it easier to do them my self good luck hun

Congratulions :).... I don't think am brave enough to do injections myself but would like to as I do 48 hour shifts and it would mean I could do them and not take time off till I had to x

It really don't hurt at all and dose make life easier to manage it your self good luck hun xx

Thank you hun,I think it's the not knowing at the minite and my over thinking makes it worse than it probley is.... How many a day did you have to do x

Started with one a day them moved to 2 last day was 3 maybe get ur partner to do 1st c how u feel about doing it your self the next day and just remind your self with every injection what u will be gaining at the end :-D xx

Thanks will do that am so ready for this and if it meant doing it everyday for the rest of my life I would still grab it with both hands I am now starting to feel exsighted and not so down hearted so fingers crossed we will get are happy ending thanks for getting back to me felt so alone before now :) xx
