I had an US yesterday because I have been having abdominal pain. I have gallstones, which could be a factor, but the scan also revealed a very large, fatty liver - it measured 21cm.
I have read that the upper limit of normal is 15cm.
I am reading, and planning to do everything I can to address this problem, but I am curious about one question that I cannot find the answer to: does liver size at diagnosis impact prognosis?
Thanks for any information and advice you can provide!

A fatty liver means exactly that, if due to food, eat right with low sodium and exercise, lose any weight you need to lose, if due to alcohol , stop drinking .
