Hi, I recently had an ultrasound on my stomach after getting inflammation feeling in my stomach and pain in my left and right sides. It showed I had a fatty liver and fatty pancreas but no scarring. Gallbladder, spleen & kidneys are all fine. All my blood work came back normal so far. I recently managed to get my cholesterol levels down from 6.3 to 5.2 before these findings. I’m going to have a blood test for amylase this week. My doctor is concerned about the fat on these organs and put me on statins to help remove the fat from the liver and pancreas. He is concerned there could be far in the blood. I’ve been told to lose 10% of my body weight. Has anyone on here had both a fatty liver and pancreas. If so any advice please? 😊

Didn't have the pancreas issues but losing the weight is good advice
I was told by the liver doctor that usually when you have fat around the liver you have fat around the pancreas as well. Lose the weight.
