Hey all. Just a quick one. I am well aware with NASH that my urine will generally be more yellow than usual. Darker first thing in the morning but clearer as the day goes on and I am drinking water etc. One thing that I have noticed more is that my urine at times seems to be more foamy. At times very foamy and others not as much. Anyone else with NASH/NAFLD notice this with their urine?

Well, if it is common it is a good idea to see your doc about it. Things like albumen can do that and can be a sign of disease but you can't really determine the cause from that description alone.
Foamy urine is often a sign of excess protein in the urine and is a kidney rather than liver problem. You need to see your doctor for appropriate kidney function tests.

Thanks for the replies. 👍
I had that and my doctor determined I was spilling protein (not uncommon with diabetes). She put me on a low dose of Lisinipril 2.5mg, fixed it.
Thanks Lad. Have got my GP to agree to a test to see if there is anything to worry about.👍🏻
