I am new to this forum and don't know what to do next. I have just been given e referral and the hospital near me says no appointments, so I have been given a definite date at another hospital, which I have accepted for November. But am unsure whether to ask GP to try and get me an appointment at the closest hospital, if that is possible? Not even sure if I can wait till November at the moment.

Many Thanks.

Hi snow22

Lots of hospitals in the London area, the Kings College Hospital I have read about previously:

kch.nhs.uk/service/a-z/hepa...

Kings College also have the liver research foundation there too:

liver-research.org.uk/liver...

There is the London Liver Centre on Harley Street.

Most of the hospitals have specialised areas:

The Royal Free is one of 2 London hospitals who deal with transplants.
