Feel Lost!

It has been quite sometime since I have written anything. When I started on this post I was 66 years old, now I am 67. I just recently had a complete hip replacement! I was diagnosed with cirrhosis last December 2018. I was in shock! I am very much overweight but lost 25 pounds immediately. In the last several months I have went back to my old eating habits and have not lost anymore weight however I did not gain any of the 25 back. I don’t know how to get myself back on track. I have been having pain in the liver area. I am scared!

Hi 66

It is scary and one of the hardest things is to come to grips with the fact that lifestyle change is your only useful tool right now. It is hard to stop thinking about your food change as how it must be from now on with our history of short term diets. We all struggle with that but the best advice we can give is to turn the fear into resolve and make a healthier diet your medicine from now on. Here is a place to start.
