Ok need serious advice here. Would you recommend going to a different specialist number one for a liver biopsy. Number 2 to see if you can get insurance papers signed as that your current Doctor refuses on the grounds that they have no idea as to when you may succumb to this condition. As they put it you can die in 2 days or 30 days a year or 5 years. I just do not know what will happen I am not Good.

Hi Utep

Of course we are not doctors and can't give medical advice. I can tell you that you have a right to get a second opinion or change doctors if you don't feel good about your care. Testing like a biopsy can't tell you when you are going to die but do provide valuable information about the condition of the organ. There are people for whom a biopsy is not appropriate so I can't guess as to what is behind that doc's view but if you can't communicate it seems like you might consider a change.
