retroperitoneal mass

Hi,I have been diagnosed with deep infiltrative endometriosis and adenomyosis. On my MRI is also shows a sub rectal mass and a 8cm retroperitoneal mass. My ca125 blood tests have been between 72-94 but that could be caused by the endometriosis. I had a biopsy of the mass on thursday and anxiously waiting the result. Just wondering if anyone else has this retroperitoneal mass and how it was treated. TIA x

Hi, I had a retroperitoneal mass removed last June . Deep infiltrating endo and Adenymosis. It is a scary wait for the histology to come back on the mass and it’s easier for me to say but these are more common than we are led to believe.websites and consultants do keep you worrying as the information on it is frightening. I learned a lot through this group .Are you under an accredited BSGE Endo centre , Mine was removed in an MTD surgery as kidney , bowel and bladder was involved . Have they advised of surgery ?

Hi, thanks for your response. I have not been advised on any surgery. I was referred to endometriosis clinic in December and still waiting to see them.
