Still bleeding post laparoscopy....normal, please help!!

Hi all,I had a laparoscopy, hysterocopy and colposcopy all under general 3weeks ago. Found stage 4 endo covering bladder, bowel, appendix and around back of uterus, removed what they could and took biopsies. I am on the contraceptive pill so bleeding has always been minimal. However since surgery, where I was told couple of days bleeding only as the surgeon had cauterised all areas I am still bleeding. Got given antibiotics after a fortnight in case of infection but they have done nothing and worried this is the new norm!! I am a single mum to 2 SEN children so energy is a must and this is wiping me out! Any advice would be great x

I don't think ths is normal. Call the consultant who did the op back via his secretary, say you are extremely worried and certain there is something wrong. They should at least send you for an ultrasound urgently tos ee if there is too much fluid built up anywhere. You will probably need to make a massive fuss, but do so. They have a duty of care and must make sure you are okay. Please try this. Explain to the secretary it is not normal and ask to see another gynae if they won't help but legally they should. I had my surgery 3 months ago now and am still bleeding. I was using tranexamic acid for 2 weeks now which stopped the bleeding but the GP won’t prescribe me anymore so I’m back to square one
