Sooooooo happy!
Had my appointment at the hospital today and my consultant finally agreed after 20 horrible long years to put me on the list for a total hysterectomy. Continuing Prostap and Evorell patches till then, but the papers are all signed. So relieved. I really thought he was going to fob me off again, but I went in very polite, firm and assertive . I questioned his previous reasons for refusing and gently reminded him he kept changing the rules, he then checked and said I could have the op. He kept changing BMI and weight goals/reasons for not operating every time I went. I’ve always joked with my consultant he had to sort me out before he retires, he told me today he IS retiring next year. Very sad he’s leaving but he said he will do my surgery before he goes lol!
