Reappearance of endo after both ovaries have been removed?

Hi, I just wanted to know if anyone has had new growths of endo or reappearance since both ovaries have been removed and no HRT given? Is this possible?? I thought endo is fuelled by oestrogen??

Endo is fuelled by oestrogen (oestradiol) but this isn't only produced by the ovaries . Other tissues produce it by a process called aromatisation. Importantly endo cells themselves produce it without the need of ovaries or HRT. There is much less risk of recurrence but it does happen and is likely to be linked to severity.

How awful, many thanks Lindle... and how do we avoid all oestrogen production? I hear that certain foods are good for balancing it like phytoestrogens. I suspect meat, eggs and dairy have animal hormones that we don´t need... A sugar balancing diet I´ve been told can help. There has to be a way to manage and reverse this condition...
