I’m a little confused. I have had a hysterectomy 2 years ago and was told I had my uterus, cervix, and tubes removed, but ovaries left. This was because they suspected I adenomyosis however biopsy showed I didn’t have it. (Have been diagnosed with endo previous but on bowl, bladder, walls, floor).
My pelvic pain never really went away although I can now definitely tell the difference between endometriosis pain and what was “period pain”. Iv had mris that show severe adhesions around my bowel etc. 2 mris showed a complex cyst on left ovary that was touching my bowel. But neither mri showed my right ovary.
In the last 4 months Iv had some lumps appear on my vagina along with unexplained itching. Iv had the same partner for ten years but have had a sti check which was fine. I had some unexpected vaginal bleeding on Friday, sore dr on the Tuesday they were close concerned about the lumps and said the incision from my hysterectomy inside my vagina had a smooth lump and was referred urgently for cancer testing. The next day was sent for vaginal ultrasound that again didn’t show my right ovary, she said my left ovary was fine with no cyst and my cervical stump was fine… I’m pretty sure if I had my cervix and uterus removed I was given a vaginal cuff or sleeve that there should be no stump?? Can I have both?? I can’t find any answers
HELP ME IF YOU CAN PLEASE!!!!!

You may have had a partial hysterectomy? That’s where they take out the uterus but leave the cervix behind….. which to be descriptive, could look like a stump. But then I’m confused by the “lump” they found. Maybe it was just your cervix left behind? And on top of that endometrial tissue can still grow around the cervix so some people still spot when the cervix is left behind. It can also act as a nidus for endometrial growth.
I have had no bleeding at all in the 2 +years, even after that op it was very minimal. In the last 6 months iv noticed during intercourse I can feel something almost being pulled. Iv searched the internet and can’t find any similar stuff x
I’m sorry Mavis. It is rare. I’ve never seen anything like that during my time as an oncologist so hopefully it’s benign. I hope you do find some answers soon. Please keep me up to date. I am worried for you. Sending hugs and well wishes. ❤️xx
Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. I am worried, I keep being fobbed off told there is nothing to worry about. But the lumps have scared me. So has this feeling of fullness pulling x
