Hi everyone I have suffered for years I am 40 years old. At 15 I had a laporoscopy and was told there was scar tissue and my left ovary was double the size it should be. I continued to suffer in horrendous pain and was put on the contraceptive pill. I later at 25 had a tubal ectopic pregnancy which was not diagnosed therefore I ended up in intensive care and lost my tube. I then went on to have a healthy baby boy.
However my symptoms did not end . I have been having sweating for the last 18 months and had blood tests I was told CA1 25 was high level in my blood which could mean ovarian cancer, endometriosis or fibroids.
I had a scan at gyno oncology and they are 80% certain it’s not ovarian cancer but I am having a camera inserted into my womb to double check for womb cancer.
They have said it is endometriosis before I’ve had the next laporoscopy which I’m due to have. When I don’t know.
My question basically is has anyone dealt with this type of situation before for and have they managed to get a hysterectomy? That’s all I want now I have suffered for 25 years and I can’t do it anymore.
Thank you in advance to whoever takes the time to try and help me 💕💕

Hi sorry you are going through this and for such a long time, I am 39 and only diagnosed with endo and adeno 4 years ago and it’s been hell ever since.I can’t comment on the ovarian cancer apart from its good that the hospital are looking into this for you and I hope you get your appointment very soon.
I am going to be getting a hysterectomy for my adenomyosis but don’t think it will do much for my endo.
Have they discussed your options with you?
I know exactly what you mean when you say you can’t do it anymore, it takes it’s toll on you mentally and physically and changes life so much. If you ever need a chat you know where I am, at least on here we all understand x
Awwww thank you so so much for taking the time to reply to me. Honestly I feel so lost and alone. I’ve no idea how long anything is going to take as I’ve been ignored for so long despite various things that have happened. I’m just so fed up now with everything xx
Hi there. I am now 50 and was diagnosed at 44 when I had an ovarian cyst removed. I asked for a hysterectomy but was denied. Prior to diagnosis I had the camera to check my womb. There is hope. During surgery they found a large nodule in my bowel which would be hard to remove. So I am on provera a progesterone drug which should stop nodules growing. No periods and no pain for many years now. I will take the drug until the age of 55 when I should have finished the menopause. Another good thing is the drug helps reduce menopause symptoms too. Take heart you can get to the other side and be pain free
