This could be entirely coincidental but this morning I got sudden pain in my right shoulder blade radiating up my neck. It hurts if I turn my head to either side or don’t keep my arm straight. It feels like the pain I got in my left hip a few years ago which meant I couldn’t walk and no one could give me a reason. Has anyone else experienced this and do you think it was connected to endo? I’ve taken painkillers but they haven’t helped, waiting on my GP to call me back.

Shoulder and neck pain
Hi lovely I get this sometimes…I have suspected endo. I’ve had a flare up this past week after having my third Prostap injection and had this pain yesterday after also having a migraine. It’s like a deep nagging / throbbing pain from my shoulder up my neck. Don’t know if it’s related but I’ve heard other women complain of this too xx
Hello, If it’s cyclical, it could be related to endometriosis. Not a Dr. but I have right shoulder pain, something to do with the phrenic nerve I think and diaphragmatic endometriosis but I think you usually have pain under the right rib too. I have suspected endo on the diaphragm, had the pain for years, but they’ve not found it yet. You’d need a specialist surgeon to look during a laparoscopy. Then if it’s found you’d need a thoracic surgeon I think. I use a heat pad for the pain or those stick on ones if you’re out & about, plus the usual painkillers. Id keep a diary of when it comes and goes and see if it’s related to your cycle. I hope you don’t have it. Wish you well x
