13 weeks post lap surgery this weekend. So yes I am trying to get back to normal after hours activities. I had the marina and fitted after previously being on nothing as nothing agreed with me!
Anyway, prior to surgery I never used to bleed - maybe a little on wiping the day after but only a slightest colour change in discharge almost.
Since my lap, and we are going easy still at the moment - I bleed literally every time I have sex and it’s really starting too piss me off.
My Endo was graded as severe stage 4 and I had a lot removed ect. However, my Endo only troubled me 2 weeks off every month before, during and after my period, so apparently is classified as silent Endo or something but by the by. I did get the odd pain during sex but ached abit the day, but this is driving me mad now! Every time, my other half ends up covered in either old blood or new blood luckily he’s not screamish but I can’t full relax as I am waiting to spot it everytime - is this is now I have the coil the better of two evils? One side, I get random mucus daily and can’t have sex without bleeding or suffer the 14-20 days of each month but can at least be okay the other day 🤦🏼♀️ I’m feeling fustrated in more ways than one here girls! Help me out lol xx

Hmm it could be the coil - if I've read it right that you've now had that fitted, not sure how it affects things though as I've not had it. Side effects are random bleeding - it doesn't say specifically during sex so perhaps some lovely ladies on here could help with as to why that could happen.
After surgery and removal of endo you should be feeling better and not have any new symptoms for a while. So perhaps the new symptom is side effects or something new.
I had cervical ectropion (sensitive cells further up the cervix appear at the base and can bleed) which was only discovered during a smear as I'd noticed spotting during sex - but that comes with a needle like sharp pain and is a result of actual touching the cervix (so deep penetration). Yours seems to be more bleeding to be that though
You can get endo and cysts in your vagina - did you have a hysteroscopy (camera up vagina) during your lap? They sometimes do that to visually check for any issues with your vagina, cervix and uterus, and take samples.
To be honest my notes from surgery were crap! I’ve actually had my GP on the case as my notes literally say “severe grade 4 endometriosis, adhesiolysis, 8cm cyst removed and Mirena fitted - bowel and bladder involvement” that’s it! It’s only from the questions I asked post surgery I know that the Endo was cut out and the silent Endo business.
I know at some point I will possibly require a further lap especially with with bowel and bladder business but when I don’t know!
The cells thing sounds interesting - all my smears came back fine but I do have a history of a loop excision.
Thank you for your reply - I have been discharged for 6 months so I will just wait so they cannot throw the old “you haven’t given it enough time” card at me x
Wow, rubbish notes cannot help. Definitely need new ones actually saying what was done so it's good that you and your GP are on the case.
Yeah I had a further lap about 8 months later to remove the endo on bowel they couldn't do in first lap as needed a bowel specialist plus wanted to see if the symptoms for that bit still remained. I guess you could do the same; discuss it at your 6 month follow up if you're still concerned and have some symptoms. I think it's supposed to be about a 50% reduction in symptoms however a good specialist will want to reduce that a bit more especially if you're still feeling like you can't be yourself.
