Post zoladex period?

I had my last zoladex injection 8 weeks ago and I still haven't had a period yet, is this normal? I haven't been told what to expect so completely in the dark about when and what to expect. Google is giving all sorts of answers.

This is normal nat_allen4 it took me a few months for my period to come, some women don't get it until 6 months after their last injection. Everybody is different some have very little pain and bleeding or (like me) very heavy and painful, just be prepared take pads and tampons with you anywhere you go and get that hot water bottle ready if you normally suffer with bad pains. Hi lovely, it took me 7 months till my period returned. And ironically, it was the first time since the last injection that I had left the house to visit a friend! I was driving home and boom, it was back. But ever since I had the injections, my body has changed completely. I now can’t take any kind of synthetic hormones, the coil, depo, hrt etc etc. I had intended to go straight back on the pill but something about those injections changed things. Sorry to go off on a tangent there! It’s just my situation is never like anyone else’s! I spend half my life trying to find someone like myself but nothing so far.

But all the advice shazza gave is what I would say too. Especially the pads and the pain.
