Has anyone on here used a Alpha-lipoic acid supplement, to help remove heavy metals from the body?

If so . . . Did you see good results?

. . . And if the results were good, can anyone recommend a brand and where they got it from?

Alpha lipoic acid is contraindicated for anyone with CKD.

i used it as my nephrologist suggested but it burned after swallowing it. Has it helped any one?
