Has anyone been prescribed Tolvaptan to delay dialysis? It was just approved last week in the US for PKD. Was wondering how you feel on it or about it. In the US it's called Jynarque. Any feedback appreciated

Yes Bunkin heard about the drug and it’s good results from CMaxwell78. I think she participated in the trial too. Please check out her post in ‘Kidney Disease.’ Hope the drug helps you too🙏

Can't find that person. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Any suggestions?

cmaxwell78 She is in the “kidney disease” community. And is an NKF ambassador. If you scroll down to your communities and choose kidney disease you can reach her.

I looked at some literature that indicate could lead to liver problems

I would not recommend taking any newly FDA approved drug for at least a year as clinical trials have a very limited population

Side effects of many new drugs are not fully seen until thousands or million doses.

It's actually not a new drug just new for PKD, but I have decided against it. Don't want to cause any problems for my liver. Thank you for your response!
