Glyciphase is Metformin.Different from Geemer ,OHA(Oral hypoglcemic agent)

Metformin may be taken once or twice a day after food.Preferably after dinner.

Depending on your tolerability you can take up to 2Gms.You may get headache

and lose motions.Reduse the dose.children,old people>80yrs,people whose BMI

is<19 should not take Metformin.Every prrson with type 2 Diabetes must be on this

Medicine.This will reduce your fat and dose of other medicines.

While taking metformin one should have kidney checkup regularly such as serum creatin

if it exceeds normal level u may have to reduce the dosage.
