Is there any relationship between Vitamin D and blood sugars? Any thoughts?

Besides maintaining healthy bones and muscles vitamin d has keyrole in improving the insulin sensitivity. Long term deficiency may cause obesity which in turn cause diabetes.

Two types:

D2: Artificial

D3: Produced inside the body.

D3 is thrice effective as compared to D2.

Exposure to sunrays 10-20mins at least 4days a week.

Subordinate options:

Cheese

Egg yolks

Fatty Fishes: Salmon,mackerel, tuna

Worst option:

Supplements.

Evion is Vit E and other is multivit.

Sir take natural vitD with roaming 20 to 30 minutes in sunshine preferably morning or afternoon .Avoid during noon to avoid sunburn.food should be medicine i.e.cheese,egg yolk,fatty sea fish etc.Thanks sir.

Yes sir am losing weight from last 3 months any 9 kgs is it due to diabetic or difficiency of vit or other facts am on glycomet 1-0-0 and diet moderate exercises

yes lower vit d level tend to happen type 2 diabeties....test yourself on vit d3 and b12.....if results are neg then take medication and check after some time you blood sugar.......also check yourself for sgot and sgpt lft tests it will also help a lot.......i have went through all same processes.......now in control but still i take galvasmet 50/500 after dinner and my type 2 remains 150 undrr control.
