Hi

Good Morning

I am 42 and diagnosed with diabetes two years ago. I am not taking medicines but following a healthy life style. My fasting always comes at 130-150. HB1AC was 8.3 but in these three months after taking Fenugreek water and Okra water together it got reduced to 7.5 in three months. I do yoga and walking in the morning on Daily basis. In these months when I started taking things seriously my others tests are also came good. I am happy with it. Now I have stated eating both Okra and Fenugreek also which I soaked in water last night. Is it ok to have both in one time?

Can we also have these waters at before lunch or dinner so that PP does not go high. I also take cumin water and avoid taking milk.

Please advise all these 3 water can be taken on time, early in the morning. Empty stomach?

7.5 h1ac is on higher side, if you are not taking medicine advice to bring it down to < 7 like 6.7 or 6.8.

How low does your doctor want your A1c to go? Different people have different scales for how much or little the A1c has to be. Everyone isn’t the same.

Your HbA1c is very high.

Improving HbA1c by 1% for people with type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes cut the risk of microvascular complications by 20%.

Research has also shown that people with type 2 diabetes who reduce their HbA1c by 1% are:--

19% less likely to suffer cataracts.

16% less likely to suffer heart failure.

43% less likely to suffer amputation or death due to peripheral vascular disease.

MANISH_MAYURANK123 at around 170 average blood glucose levels (A1C of 7.5) you are close to cellular damage levels (>180) and might want to consider handling it better. If you do not mind me asking, how tall are you and how much do you weigh. What is your typical macro nutrient profile for a day in your diet?

Reducing HbA1c from 8.3 to 7.5 in 3 months is not bad. Hence continue same diet and lifestyle for another 3 months and get HbA1c test repeated. Let us see how it goes.
