Fasting blood sugar (FBS) less than 100 mg/dL is considered as normal.

FBS between 100 to 125 mg/dL is considered as prediabetes. (Impaired fasting glucose)

FBS having 126,/dL or more is considered as diabetes.

Initial stages of type 2 diabetes can be controlled by low carbohydrate diet, aerobic exercises and reduction of overweight or obesity.

Avoid cigarette smoking and consumption of alcohol.

Fasting sugar 100-126 is taken as Pre-diabetes and over that is 'Diabetes'

However since you are on the borderline, you can work on diet and exercise and bring down your sugar levels.

This will help you to avoid medicines. Please don't tip over towards medicines, because then it becomes a life long problem.

Take this opportunity as a challenge to improve your lifestyle and that will bring down your sugar levels.

Avoid Medicines, stay healthy and fit.
