switching over to insulin from oral tablet

I am a diabetic patient for the last 25 years.

I am on oral tablets but want to switch over to insulin.

Please advise me how i can start taking insulin instead of oral tablets.

Well, I have the same wish, however it is not as easy as you would think. You need to see your Endocronologist and they usually have an office educator who can walk you through it with classes. There is a lot to learn to be safe. Your doctor should be consulted first to see if he agrees. Some offices also let you borrow a insulin pump to see if you like that. You don't just decide you want to do insulin.
