I'm taking metformin. Morning 2 tablets n night 1 according to doctor's prescription. I feel sleepy at daytime.

What was your reading when u checked last? I think small lifestyle changes and avoiding sugar is necessary. Avoiding all these control my sugar till now. Afternoon reading too is 122 as per accucheck (after 3 hours of heavy lunch)

I advise people to stick to lcd as far as possible although Im new and very ignorant about this desease.

All I ask is help from seniors.

Have you mentioned the sleepy feeling as a side effect to the doctor who put you on the metformin? Ask the doctor about lowering the dose, if necessary. When can you make an appointment with the doctor? When was the last appointment?
