My age is 47, Recently undergone various tests and got to know, my HBA1c is 7.9. Fasting Blood Glucose is 117. I am healthy with lean body structure. body weight is 75 kg. Stress TMT and ECG is Negative. doctor advised me Metformin Hydrochloride-500mg once a day. is that a right drug? and what should I do to control my Glucose levels.

You need to change the diet that has given you T2. Metformin is not the answer. If you get serious there is every chance you will reverse your condition.
