It seems there is some error in reporting creatinine of 10. It should be 1.0. Adults with an elevated serum creatinine level (1.5 to 3.0 mg/dL) there is a high probability of chronic renal failure.

I should have thought you would be on dialyses /kidney wait list . 15 is the lowest before treatment starts ? & must be at least stage 4. Good luck !

Measuring serum creatinine is a simple test, and it is the most commonly used indicator of renal function.

A normal result is 0.7 to 1.3 mg/dL for men and 0.6 to 1.1 mg/dL for women.

Higher than normal level may be due to:--

* Blocked urinary tract

* Kidney problems, such as kidney damage or failure, infection, or reduced blood flow

* Loss of body fluid (dehydration)

* Muscle problems, such as breakdown of muscle fibers (rhabdomyolysis)

* Problems during pregancy, such as seizures (eclampsia), or high blood pressure caused by pregnancy (preeclampsia)

Diabetic nephropathy is kidney disease or damage that can occur in people with diabetes.

Consult a Nephrologist.
