These parameters were fixed by european doctors based on research conducted on patients of their region with different food habits and climatic conditions.MY PHYSICIAN who was a professor and now a consulting diabetologist has this doubt.But as he has no alternative he says he is compelled to follow this but he has his reservations.

Yes there is point in the view of the learned professor.But in the absence of an reliable alternative parameter it advisable to follow the existing pattern.
