No.It it is on the other way. Your diabetes makes you get worries anxiety and such other things including sleepleesness/sleepy (both) You can consult doctor who will prescribe you anxiety releiving medicines.

Anxiety and stress are some of the triggers for diabetes management.For relaxation you can adopt the following techniques:1.Physical exercise like walking or jogging for 40 min to one our followed by cooling.2.Breathing exercises like what Swami Ramdev teaches.3.Yogasanas,which you can learn from a good yoga teacher from your locality.4.Meditation.There are a number of systems of meditation.Search for a preceptor.If you divert your mind towards these activities and practice regularly,relaxation is possible and your health will definitely improve.
