Soft voice, is that one of the symptoms or side effect of C/L?

at tImes, I do not have enough strength to utter the last few words in a sentence, it happen during ON period too. It confuses me,

anyone any ideas?

It is a symptom.

There are many of us with impaired speech that don't take C/L.

tks. I have DBS I believe it plays a role as well, because some settings (i.e different contact point or frequency especially frequency) might affect the speech , but does give other symptoms much more relieve

Yes, some people who have had DBS have speech impairment a result.

Did you have unilateral or bilateral?

I have a soft voice if I don't concentrate, it is a symptom of my Parkinson's as I am not on any medication.I did have speech and language therapy which did help

my voice was deteriorating for a few years prior to diagnosis before I took any meds
