I have checked into this. I couldn't get a straight answer from them. It seems like it is for people with osteopenia., and generally good for strengthening. I have osteoporosis and a compression deformity. Concern about doing more harm than good. vibrating machines that you stand on are supposed to build strong bones.

My writing on nutrition for bone health. Short version: vitamins D, K (K1&K2), plus trace minerals silica and boron result in reduced fracture risk, without the risks of using bisphosphonates (Fosamax etc.)

ļ»æTthank you for your information. I'm on a program that includes D3 K2 calcium omega-3s and minerals. I'll pass your information on to people I know could use it. Once again thank you

Ugh - bisphosphonates upset my whole system - only took for a week. Somehow I went from having osteoporosis to osteopenia with Vit D and whatever else as per my recent Dexa Scan. Our dentist mentioned Vitamin K to reduce plaque an when I mentioned to my primary care doctor he hadn't heard of the connection.

Thanks for the links with info.

thank you Smittybear7! I am a PwP always looking for new ways to help without adding meds. I did the introductory session and it seemed legit. They do have a vibration plate you can stand on toošŸ˜Š

is anyone taking a specific supplement that has all of these key nutrients or are you getting them from diet?

I take D and K2, always together as Iā€™ve read that itā€™s better to do that, and collagen plus the calcium that I get from my foods.

I did the introductory session and read the original research material from the creator. I think it is somewhat of a sham. The evidence hasn't been replicated by any one else. They locate these franchises in areas where there is a market for them....older population who can spend $200 month for a once a week session. Probably better to find a trainer who can incorporate resistance training and functional movement exercise.

I have just started Osteostrong. I have done introductory and also baseline assessment. Sounds too good to be true, but I do not want to take Prolia or infusion so am prepared to give this a go and see if things improve.
