A "no hospital order"? Is that the same as a DNR? Did the medics come to your house and fix you up? I am praying for you. Good luck and may God Bless You.

What is a “no hospital order”?

a dnr that stip[ulates that they cant taske me to the hospital because they inevitably try to "save" you and i dont need saving..

Thank you. I read your replies to Bolt_Upright. DNR. Hospice. In my experience Hospice is wonderful in navigating your care at home. I'm sorry you have come to this point and hope you are able to make peace with whatever it brings. My prayers are with you.

May your needs be met and thanks for sharing. Did the hospice nurse help?

yes hospice helped...its quite scarey and difficult to "not" go the hospital during a heart attack and immediately following an "event" i feel quite vulnerable and isolated .......despite the fact that i know whats "going on"....my only suggestion to folks is "Never have a heart attack alone"....the stress of near death experience tends to make you worse in the "short run" that is why its so common to have 2 attacks ..the first one is idiopathic..the second one is our panic response to the first one...cheers!
