If you're FAT (like ME)...

Try doing the O.M.A.D. diet (one meal a day).

I'm on day #157!

I found this clinical study which supports: CALORIC RESTRICTION to improve PD symptoms

(and the bonus is that you LOOK better!).

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

"The effect of CR (caloric restriction) on preserving the integrity of the intestinal barrier (gut microbiome) has been tested in rats and humans. In rats, long-life CR does not reverse the loss of permeability observed in old animals [63]. In contrast, a mild four-week of CR improves systemic inflammation and the permeability of the intestinal barrier in obese humans [64]."

"CR also improved behavioral and molecular signs in a MPTP-induced mouse model of Parkinson’s Disease (PD) by increasing the levels of the brain derived neurotrophic factor and the glial cell-derived neurotrophic factor [61]. The anti-neuroinflammatory properties of CR have also been extrapolated to EAE models where it decreases IFN-? and IL-6 levels and ameliorates demyelination [62]."
