In the study you referenced, they use 3 doses of Silymarin per day at 140 mg per dose.
This is the actual product they used :

Can you take this with Sinemet and baclofen and other supplements? Milk thistle is supposed to be a good liver detox. Thanks for sharing
Drugs.com doesn't think there is an issue with this combination :

Here is a quote from their article :
>>> ' No interactions were found between the drugs in your list. However, this does not necessarily mean no interactions exist. Always consult your healthcare provider. ' <<<

Unfortunately the full version of this article is not available. The abstract says improvement was stat sig, but does not tell us by how much.
I took a look at the literature. There is the usual collection of invalid pretreatment studies. The best evidence I could find, aside from the cited study, was a flatworm study:
sciencedirect.com/science/a...
"silymarin alleviated PD symptoms by reducing α-synuclein levels, lipid accumulation and enhanced dopamine function."
From the full text which is behind a pay wall:
"a significant reduction in a-synuclein levels in worms treated with silymarin as compared to control group. Semi-quantitative analysis... confirmed the above findings in which the comparison to control (42.9 ± 0.63) a significant decrease in fluorescence intensity was observed in worms raised on silymarin (23.5 ± 1.23)...
the worms in the control group exhibited...repulsion time in seconds (1.21 ± 0.071), where as silymarin treated worms exhibited a significant reduction in the mean repulsion time (0.76 ± 0.057) implicating beneficial effects of silymarin on dopamine levels ... We observed a significant increase in dopamine levels in silymarin treated wild- type N2 worms as compared to control. In wild-type N2 strain, silymarin treatment exhibited (6852.0 ± 62.0, p = 0.003) a significant increase in dopamine levels as compared to control group (4812.5 ± 97.50) "
Will put silymarin on my list of things to test personally.
Thank you ! Yeah it looks like another sup worth adding to the stack for testing

I've read that milk thistle repaired the liver damage caused by tylenol overdose.
