Power of light with sound for calming brain

Someone recently posted about light.

Which prompted me to revisit this.

“Our BrainTap Headset brings a whole new dimension to your braintapping sessions by adding the restorative power of light frequency therapy. In addition to the sonic effect in the audio-sessions, the BrainTap Headset delivers gentle light pulses that travel through the ear meridians and the retina, sending direct signals to the brain and guiding you into extraordinary brain states that would otherwise take years of disciplined effort to achieve.”

Dr. David Sinclair of Harvard says he uses it. I doubt he was paid but I don’t know.

Can anyone attest to this technology having efficacy?

Sounds like the device is total nonsense.

Comparing top brain devices (Don’t know this guy buy at least he is unlikely to be paid and it’s personal experience)

“High-frequency pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) stimulation is an emerging noninvasive therapy that we have shown increases cerebral blood flow (CBF) and tissue oxygenation in the healthy rat brain. In this work, we tested the effect of PEMF on the brain at high intracranial pressure (ICP). We previously showed that high ICP in rats caused a transition from capillary (CAP) to non-nutritive microvascular shunt (MVS) flow, tissue hypoxia and increased blood brain barrier (BBB) permeability”

Not recommending! I do not know what the heck I’m talking about. Just trying to learn

Examples of PEMF devices are the Curatron® (Amjo Corp, West Chester, PA, USA), Seqex® system (S.I.S.T.E.M.I. Srl, Trento, Italy), MRS 2000®, iMRS®, QRS® (all produced by Swiss Bionic Solutions Schweiz GmbH, Dulliken, Switzerland) and TESLA Stym (Iskra Medical, Ljubljana, Slovenia).

55]. Several clinical trials have pointed out the therapeutic efficacy of TMS in PD patients [3, 31, 56, 57]. For example, biomagnetic measurements performed using magnetoencephalography (MEG) in 30 patients affected by idiopathic PD exposed to TMS evidenced that 60% of patients did not exhibit tremor, muscular ache or dyskinesias for at least 1 year after TMS therapy [58]. The patients’ 😀

This is powerful stuff! This is the study they took those good results from:

I notice they mention the TMS using Alpha waves and I think normalizing the EEG. I think I will get some of my binaural beats into the Alpha wave area. Lots to research here.

Bolt, I just don’t understand if it is protective? Some of the claims of symptom reduction are uplifting but is it repairing or protecting? (I’m exhausted and extra lacking in ability at the moment)

Well if you get results that last a year. Sounds too good to be true.
